Phytomedica: Theory and Practice of Herbal Medicine

Developed by medical herbalist and Ayurveda practitioner Todd Caldecott over two decades of clinical practice and teaching, the Phytomedica program is an integrated approach to the prevention and treatment of disease, drawing upon several traditions and aspects of medicine, including Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, and clinical nutrition.

This extensive and highly detailed program is divided into twelve modules, each of which details a specific area of clinical work such as gastroenterology (digestive disease), respirology (respiratory disease), and nephrology (urinary disease). Each module provides a detailed anatomical and physiological review, along with traditional medical perspectives on each system, and a review of medical and holistic treatment protocols for specific health issues.

Building upon the groundwork laid by the Inside Ayurveda and Food As Medicine programs, the Phytomedica program provides a solid foundation for anyone wishing to establish or enhance their clinical practice.
